HAYFA

AL-SADA

The visual artist Haifa Al-Sada began drawing early from childhood, and after a long journey of experiences, she turned to the art of portraiture and has her own style of drawing faces and characters. She has many participations in exhibitions, national events, forums, and murals. Haifa is a researcher in the science of color and the visual effects of combining colors.

The mural represents an imaginary scene from the day of allegiance between the people of Qatar and HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on 25 of June 2013

One of the important roles of art is to record important historical events that countries and nations go through in significant periods of their history.

The mural records a critical moment in Qatar’s modern history, especially since it is the first peaceful power transfer in the whole region.

The mural reflects the cohesion between the leadership and the citizens during the process of allegiance in Emiri Diwan as HH Sheikh Hamad and HH Sheikh Tamim meet with their citizens.

This piece is the first of its kind in Qatar as per the size, the style, and the purpose of recording an important event.
